We are committed to protecting your privacy. We collect only the minimum necessary information to enable subscriptions and provide a functional experience.

a) Subscription Data

We use RevenueCat, a third-party service, to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat may collect the following data:

• Purchase history (e.g., whether a subscription is active)
• Anonymous user identifiers (automatically generated; not linked to your identity)

2. Data Collection and Storage

Habit Lock does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All data—except subscription status managed by RevenueCat—is securely stored on your device. This includes:

• Your habit tracking data (session times, goals, progress)
• App preferences and settings
• Timer and screen usage information

3. Data Security

Since all data is stored locally on your device, it remains fully under your control. We do not have access to your information, and no third parties can retrieve it. However, we recommend that you back up your device regularly to prevent data loss.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the minimal data collected solely to:

• Verify and manage your subscription status
• Unlock premium features for active subscribers

We do not use your data for analytics, tracking, or advertising purposes.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data. The only third party involved is RevenueCat, used exclusively for handling subscriptions.

6. Your Rights

Because we store no personal information, we do not provide tools to request, modify, or delete data. All your non-subscription data remains on your device and under your control.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Effective Date" above.

9. Legal Basis for Processing (EU GDPR)

We process subscription-related data based on Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR: processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (i.e., access to premium features). No personal data is collected or processed for any other purpose.

10. Data Processor

For subscription management, we use RevenueCat, Inc., which processes data on our behalf in accordance with their Data Processing Addendum. We have agreed to their terms to ensure full compliance with the GDPR.
